Void Bastard Wiki
Food is a collectible resource in the game Void Bastards. When the Client is flying the S.T.E.V through the Sargasso Nebula, every space that is moved consumes one Food as well as one Fuel. The Client can also choose to 'Rest', which consumes one Food without moving the S.T.E.V and allows the Client to heal a bit more Health. If the Client moves or Rests without having any Food, they will lose some Health instead of gaining it.
Finding Food
- Most ships have a Break Room. These rooms are virtually guaranteed to have Food in them.
- Food can also commonly be found in some Hab Rooms.
- Lux Ships usually have a Dine Room in them with lots of Food, and are generally the best ships to loot for Food.
- Crates of Food can be found scattered randomly around the Sargasso Nebula.

Trivia & Lore
- Almost all solid food in the CNT is cheese-and-onion sandwiches.
- The only exception is the Biscuit, which can be purchased from Krell Mart or found in Break Rooms if the Client has the appropriate Trait.
- The menu in Lux Dining Halls lists three different items, all of which are fancy descriptions for cheese-and-onion sandwiches.
- The primary beverage ingested in the CNT is tea.
- Cocktail glasses and champagne bottles located throughout Lux ships suggests that they may have other beverages. However, this could also be similar to the 'seasonal menu', in that they are simply over-fancy vessels for tea.
